Lucky Number Slevin

Everyone should check out Lucky Number Slevin. It is a very entertaining movie. It didn't get much buzz when it was at the theater - I'm guessing that the unusual name put people off.

The movie grabs you right from the beginning and is intriguing all the way through. All the acting is up to par, even Josh Hartnett. You've got Bruce Willis, Lucy Liu, Morgan Freeman, and Ben Kingsley all playing prominent roles.

Let me know what you think if you've seen this movie. It's a real sleeper in my opinion. I would say it is in the top 3 for movies I've seen this year.

I also rented and watched this dvd over the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised. I though it was a pretty good movie. The only thing that would have made it better is if we would have gotten to see Lucy Liu naked.

Kansas City Shuffle

I loved the movie. I am expecting a certain someone to give it to me for Christmas. But I won't hold my breath....no one cares.

Anyways, awesome movie. The story was told very nicely. And I loved the Kansas City Shuffle song. I really cranked that one....it sounded awesome. Watching it for the first time was a real treat. You never know what's going to happen. It just keeps twisting itself around and around. Until the end, then you finally understand it all.

The skin textures in some scenes looked plastic-like, though no where near as severe as in the movie Ultra Violet. I suspect over-agressive digital noise reduction, or REALLY thick make up. As for the movie itself: I fell asleep at least once during the movie. I might give it a 3 on a scale of 10 if I am feeling generous.

I don't think a lot of people are going to agree with Chris on this one. If you can't stay awake during this movie then you aren't paying attention to what's going on and trying to figure out where the story is going. The movie grabs you from the 1st scene. I'd be shocked if anyone else who saw the movie said they were bored to the point of falling asleep!!

I watched the first part of the movie and got lost. So I decided to go to bed. A few days later, I watched the last part and it filled in the blanks !! DAMN good movie!!

Highly recommended and watch it in its entirety .

Watched it today ..... after an exhausting morning at the dealership, I stop and buy this movie Lucky Slevin...get home and popped it in ...... flick grabs you right away! twenty minutes later I'm sleep...LOL
