low profile connectors

I am trying to find low profile a/v cables for home installation of a surround sound system with hd capabilities. My tv console is really narrow where my components need to be and the local sound shops in my area look at me like I'm crazy when I ask for low profile cables. I know they exist, anybody have any ideas where I could order them from?

Generally speaking, not low profile connectors, but you can use 90 degree right angle adapters on everything that you need to so that you shorten up the distance as necessary.
