Well, in my case I have to say mea culpa, I had the 4-year-old in my lap at the time and he decided to take matters into his own hands while Dad read the poll.

As the late, lamented Agent 86 would have said,

"Sorry about that, Chief..." :)

Hey. I didn't vote for Yamaha.
At least not intentially.
I didn't touched a drop, this weekend. :D

Hmm... I'll have to look that up. I think the multiple choice may throw off the system. Incidentally, I thought you had BICs, Buck? You talk about them all the time... :)

I bought a pair of BIC bookshelves (DV62si) back when I was in college - 1989 or 1990?? I ran them off an old school Yamaha 2 channel receiver. There was a 10 band BSR eq somewhere in that mix. I still have (and use) an old Teac cd player (cassettes were still the norm) from the 80's. You can hear the player "chirp" when loading a cd. Not sure if the quality is still there with the BIC's, but they were one of my favorite bookshelves.

They (DV62's) were given to my younger brother after the wife said we had way too much audio equipment in the house - probably a few years ago. The Polks are for the HT system (hooked up to the Denon 3805). I still use the Yamaha in the finished basement for music. That's the guys room - pool table, air hockey, ping pong, dart board, ceiling mounted tv, leather couch and chair, workout area, kegerator coming soon

At least it's only a national drink, not the National Religion like Guiness in Ireland.

I have AR's Phantom series for my HT. 5.2's for center, 8.3's for front, 6.2 & 8.3's for surround. and Defintive Tech for my sub. super cube 2. and i am very happy with it, for movies or listening. A friend is trying to convince me to buy canton surround.

B&W 704s

Bought a set of B&W 704s (with the HTM7 center) about two months ago - - absolutely love them. Really fills the room with sound and has a huge stage...

I bought a Monitor Audio Silver S-LCR to go with an older pair of Monitor Auido MA 700 gold mkII. I like the speaker, though it isn't an exact timbre match with the golds (I like the golds better, but that may be because I am so used to their sound). I have intended to go with a complete MA Silver series, but they have now released the RS series.

Now I am at a crossroads. Either to continue with the silver Up/down/grade and change to the RS series, or possibly switch to a wharfedale set-up. I had strongly considered the wharfedales to begin with. The wharfedales I am considering are either the Pacific Evolutions or the Opus. I know they are 2 very different price points, but that's what I am thinking. It would just take longer to get to the Opus.
