Looking to buy a Perreaux 6000b power amp.

I'm looking on ebay and googling for a Perreaux 6000b power amplifier. Does anyone know of someone who may be selling one of these? I'm not interested in any other amplifier at the moment and from what i've seen this particular model was built back in the early 80's and normally sells for around $1500. If anyone has any friends or info that may direct me to purchasing one of these amps all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you : )

Hi, and welcome to the club.

I try; nothing (all at $1,500). Must be a pretty good amp. Looks very solid, with a lot of power too, and incomparable for sound, build.

I'm cool with the $1500...I just can't find one ANYWHERE. Google searches come up with a couple of possible places but their product lists are old and out dated. I search ebay and do google searches daily but i'm sure its just a right place at the right time kinda thing. I've worked with many of them, all different models but never owned one of my own. They are in my opinion some of the best you can buy and their sonic quality is unmatched even under very precise studio control rooms. I'll continue searching and hoping..... : )
