The following was my configuration:
CD player -rca-->low lvl input on SVS PB13-Ultra-->rca low lvl out-->ASR Emitter 2(old ver, no sub out)-->B&W CDM 9NT speakers.
I somehow got the subwoofer to produce more bass than words and all that, it was working. Now the CD player died.
I was told in another thread that a reciever like: Yamaha A800 / Denon 4311CI - might make things sound better as it has an automated equalization/crossover-ing kinda function, which means *I* am removed from the equation and so greater chance of higher quality sound.
I'd like a recommendation for some such device(that was given 4 years ago). Also, what is a good way to feed audio into it? I'd hate using cds/dvds... I would much rather have a device which can take a usb with mp3s on it or something along those lines.
