Hey guys I have a bit of freedom now that I am done with all of my exams in preparation for dental school and I am looking to build a powered sub. It will probably go into a stereo set up to take care of the low frequencies for now, but I mainly want to do it to learn something about building these things and how they work. I have a great friend who builds cabinets willing to help me with the woodworking and I have quite a bit of electrical experience myself. I did some installing in cars and homes and I am looking to try and build my own sub. So where do I start reading, I would like to build a 12", nothing to big, like I said I just want to get my feet wet. I found an old HSU driver that I could probably pick up pretty cheap but I would love to hear some feedback about where I need to start.
