Hey Everyone! I'm looking to build a relatively simple system with a focus on music. What I'd like is a simple but powerful and clear 2.0 system. My initial thoughts are to go with an integrated amp, since i only care about a 2.0 setup, and care much more about quality than having a bunch of extra crap i don't need, like a tuner.

I have three main requirements:

1) Bluetooth input
2) Input for vinyl
3) Bass control.

A couple aux inputs would also be required for standard TV/DVD hookup. Bass control is important because I live in an apartment and have neighbors.

I did a lot of research and found the roksan kandy k2 bt, which appears to be pretty awesome except for the lack of bass control.

I'm not opposed to the idea of a receiver, if there is a good one that can do everything I'm looking for. I just like the idea of a more basic, more high quality unit.

I'm looking to spent between $3000-5000ish, after speakers and everything.

Speaking of speakers, I was looking at Revel F206s, mainly because I read some good reviews.

Again, I want to focus on simplicity and compact setup. I'm totally open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!

speakers the electronics are easy, no matter what you spend it is all going to be so close to the same, just go for most power for least cost, the speakers are going to make your system, I like these for towers.... {personally I like 2.2 systems with bookshelf speakers and dual subs.... seem to get more sound, better quality and all around more for less... you may want to look into it since you mentioned bass control, there is no better control that having separate subs....}

Sierra Tower Bamboo Loudspeaker I like these a lot,
or
SongTower speakers {would be on my short list}
or
Philharmonic Audio {good company, rave reviews {real reviews, not they shipped me their speakers to review them bs}
or
Imagine T2 Tower - PSB Speakers I like these a lot, they surprised the heck out of me...

If you want to go bang for buck and keep the budget tighter,
carnegie cst-1 can be bought for $999 on sale and I have the csb1's and have been super satisfied...

good luck and have fun listening before you make a choice, the cst1's for $999 have to be bought from gr by phone, we have member that has them and a few members that have the b's, all are happy..
