Looking for broken (or cheap :P) HK AVR-240

Just curious to see if anyone has an old HK AVR-240 they would be willing to give up. Preferably one that is broken, as it will be used for parts!

Circuit City is selling these online for $150.00 new in the box. I know it sounds like you're looking repair one you may already have, but 150 bones is very cheap for this receiver.

And there's always that chance that if you buy a broken AVR that it may have the same problem as the one you currently have (unless the damage is cosmetic).

circuit city is out of stock unfortunately, so i cant take advantage of that end...

Circuit City dropped HK about a year ago. You'll be lucky if you find it there.
