Looking for a good subwoofer

Guys, I am planning on changing my current sub with a better one. The max I can spend is $650. I would like to hear what experienced people and senior audioholics have to say about what options I should be looking at. Room size is about 17 x 20 x 7.5ft.

I have experience with SVS and have been very pleased with my Ultra.

They all make very good subs in your price range.

AV123 has a nasty waiting period though (I think it's out to July now).

Yeah, MFW-15 is like July or something. I have heard good things about it and it is in my price range ($599).

The MFW-15 is very pretty, but based on the performance of the STF-2 I used to have I would expect great bass from the VTF-3. I was very pleased with how well the HSU STF-2 blended with my system and it's ability for home theater and music was very good in my opinion.
