looking everywhere... has anyone done it yet?

im looking for a comparison betwen the x-ls and the ascend 170se..... I ordered the ascends, but I had to cancel last minute because of a "rainy day" - id like to orde rthem again, but in the mean time beofre my 30 days, I would like to see if anyone else has done a direct comparison of them and what they thought about it. Is the Ascend a far superior speaker to the X-LS?

The X-LS SOUND GREAT!!! Just dont wnat to keep the ascends in the back of my head and having regrets.... I know the best thing to do is try them and return the loser.... Just looking for opinions.....

Forget the Ascends. Yes, they are fine speakers, but there is no reason for you to second guess if you have and like the X-LSs already.

I would suggest listing to more speakers rather than less. That helped me a lot when I bought my speakers. The AVS speaker forum will have more posts on this topic than you can imagine if you want to take a look there.
