Watched it over the weekend. Pretty good. Intense story about Marcus Lutrell and operation Red Wing, whom many may be familiar with. It was more violent than I was expecting though that's not surprising given the material. There's a documentary out as well by the family of one of the other members of this team, Mike Murphy, that I haven't seen yet and friends said they read his book (I have not). This one isn't really about PQ or AQ so much, you just get involved. Worth a rent for sure.

On June 28, 2005, Luttrell and SEAL Team 10 were assigned to a mission to kill or capture Ahmad Shah (nom de guerre Mohammad Ismail), a high-ranking Taliban leader responsible for killings in eastern Afghanistan and the Hindu-Kush mountains.
As you can surmise from the title, the op did not go as planned.

Hey John, if you get the chance, read the book.

I read the book and it was excellent, hope the movie is close to it; they usually aren't as good.
Just added it to my Netflix queue.

Watched it as a Netflix rental last night.
The book was better. (no surprise there)
The movie is still very good and worth taking a look at.
