Nice. What are you going to do with the paradigms?
They will be up going up for sale the front 3 together.
CC is a C3 - all are in the extremely rare Rosewood veneer.

I have a Salk CC on order so ill need to hold onto that for a bit.

Can't say I could be willing to spend that kind money on those.

I did make a move to upgrade my Sig S4s in the bedroom though.
Salk SoundScapes M7's
I would not be willing to pay more than $8K for the Orions brand new either.

Are you moving from Paradigm Signature to Salk SoundScape?

Yes these Sigs are version 1 - but still at this point and time are better then any version even the latest of the Studio line .v5

I'm curious: So you consider Salk SoundScape better than Philharmonic Audio ?

I'm pretty sure the Warpster hasn't heard any Philharmonics. But if he wants to hitchhike down Washington way...................

Dennis, I was just starting a new thread to avoid the further poisoning of this Linkwitz Orion .v4 thread... PM'd a mod to move my posts...

At any rate - Dennis is correct, I have not had the luxury of hearing Dennis's new Philharmonics, but I trust they would be every bit as graceful - as he designed the Xover for the SS M7's as well as his entire new line of PH's...

The PH's are not the greatest fit for my small bedroom...

No problem at all.:D

I don't mind at all. It's like we are sitting around and just talking about WHATEVER that comes into our minds at a party. It's all cool. No worries.:D

Salk, Philpharmonics, Orions, Paradigm -- they are all speakers so it is all good to me.:D

It makes little sense to me to sell the Orions for $15K.

I just could not believe the price increase!

Multiple choice:

Which would you buy with your money:

1) Revel Salon2 for $15,000
2) Linkwitz Orion v4 for $14,000
3) KEF 207/2 for $13,000
4) B&W 800 D for $17,000
5) Salk SoundScape 12 for $14,000

Option 6 - DIY :D

DEQX + 8x Hypex Ncore1200 + 2x Pioneer SWX1034 in open baffle, + 2x Acoustic Elegance Dipole18 + Dual Opposed 4x sealed Soundsplinter RLS-15 for a cardioid/dipole/coaxial active DSP speaker.

Heck, get Nathan Funk involved :D

May I please add Adam Tensor Gamma $17k ((fully active)? Thank you.

I did strongly consider the orions at 8k. Then I waited few months for the 4 to come out and finally I was put off by the price increase.
I did consider the Salon2 as well, but I was unable to audition them properly.

Any other FINISHED, NOT DIY, speakers you would consider in the same price range?

I got the Orion v3.2.1. w/ custom mahogany high-gloss finish (extra cost).

If I had waited for the v4 and saw the monster price increase, I would have said "Screw it!" too:eek::D

Seaton Catalyst + 3x Submersive
I thought about them until I read the 'size' of the speakers. For me they would dominate everything in the living room. OTOH, If I had a theater...
The Adams I'm (most likely) getting have somethings in common: fully active, prosound background, DSP. Also, the can be adjusted which is a real plus for me, but I'm not sure the catalysts have that feature.
