LG 50um7500pla

Just bought an LG 50um7500pla, lovely set and very happy with it so far.... Apart from one thing
Tried to watch the movie 'Miami Vice' on Netflix last night, the beginning is mostly dark and it looked like watching through a very dirty window, really awful
I don't know if I've got the TV setup correctly, in all other situations the picture is fantastic, especially in HDR.
If anyone can offer some advice I'd be grateful, I'm going to borrow fiends calibration blueray to see if I can get my head around that and it makes a difference

Typical of streaming services for dark/black scenes IME....should be much better with a bluray version instead. Going thru basic calibration with a disc is a good start, tho. Good luck!

Downloaded the THX tune up app onto my ipad, aired it to the TV and made the adjustments as per instructions
Made a world of difference
