LG 32LD550 problem connecting to internet with wireless dongle

I installed the TV yesterday but I cannot connect to the internet wirelessly. It works fine when I connect it directly to the router.
It goes through the setup. It sees my network form the AP list. I select it and chose auto IP. Then it says that the connection failed because the gateway is not DHCP enabled.....but IT IS!!!!

I'm using the the LG AN-WF100 Wi-Fi Dongle and my router is Linksys WRT54G

please help me!

Check on your PC IPCONFIG /ALL and try to enter same data on your TV dongle with an diferent IP (to avoid IP conflict).

Because, mybe you WRT54G does not give DHCP adressess to wireless clients.
Check setup of router. Mybe upgrade it. Nice firmware for upgrading is
dd-wrt - stick to the upgrade procedure. If you are not sure how to upgrade, beter dont do it.

But if it works with manual setup of the dongle, it is also ok.
