LFE and house curve

Second question of the day, I have read that when you are listening to 5.1 and you have a dedicated LFE channel being played, The LFE channel is recorded 10db louder in a .1 track, when using a mini DSP to add a house curve, wouldn’t combining these two variables over boost of the subs tremendously every time you are listening in 5.1

Just consider as recorded as a baseline for first arriving at intended response (assuming well calibrated setup). If you want to add to that, just a matter of taste so vary boost to taste and don't worry about it.....
