Hello Fellas, is, there any better preamp than Lexicon Mc-12 in 2 channel stereo without breaking a bank? I really love the 2 channel Full without using a Sub and had several complaints from neighbors. It has developed a fault with the center channel and I'm contemplating either to get something that's better than it or take it to repairs but will cost me..

You might be able to find a brand new ATI pre-pro for 50% off.

Why would it sound different, let alone better?
If I remember Lexicon reboxed at least one component with their box.

The ATI pre-pro would sound equally as good. But it's a moot point anyway since they are no longer available. My bad. :D
