Legacy LF Xtreme subwoofer

I am thinking about buying a Legacy LF Xtreme subwoofer. The cabinetry is incredible and with and active 15" driver connected to a 1000watt amp and a second passive 15" driver, well, the thing sounds great. Sounds? Oh yea, that's the problem, I can't actually hear it cause it's an online purchase on audiogon. The pictures look like a new sub and the guy says it's only a few months old. The price is less than half the price for new because he bought it as a floor model. I like to read reviews about such things but, alass nothing, not one review anywhere I can find. Can anyone tell me if they know anything about this sub? I was about to buy a new Paradigm Servo 15 when I found this Legacy. I know servo is the best way to control a high power sub but I can't find anything about how Legacy subs work.

No knock on Velodyne- they make nice subs- but the servo thing is overrated IMO. Oftimes distortion well into the double digits is inaudible at very low frequencies, anyhow.

You might be able to find some reviews at E-Coustics.
