LCD/DVD Combo Advice

Anyone have any experience with LCD/DVD combo unit for Kids/Bedroom?
I have been looking and there dont seem to much options on sizes and brand. Im looking for any advice based on actual experience with them. Looking for 26" to 32" in size.

LCD/DVD Combo

Usually the Toshiba’s or Sharp’s are good choices for combo units. Be careful when buying that style of TV though. I’ve seen units brand new out the box that would not load DVD’s or would take a really long time to load.

I have the 23" Toshiba LCD/DVD Combo for my bedroom for just over a year now. My kids watch their DVD on the weekend when my wife & I have our "date-night" on the weekends.
No issues. Its exactly what I wanted. The remote is not as intuitive as I would like it, but the TV is good. We mostly watch SD TV. The DVD quality is also good. It does not upconvert DVD. The TV has all the necessary inputs if you want to add a gaming system or Blue-Ray. Hope that helps.
