hi fellas, I have a prob with my layout and i hope u guys can reallt assist me. My living space is 13'*10'. There is no wall to the back of the room opposite my a/v system. My seating positions are to the sides of the room facing each other. All this is as a result of the entry to the room and how it leads to the rest of the house. What can i do to get the best setup and height possible. also should i use 7.1 or 5.1.
Yamaha rx-v 1600
jbl e80 fronts
jbl ec25 center
bose 301 surrounds(mounted up on the ceiling facing down)
jbl n28ll rears
home built sub.
Also should i change my receiver for a pioneer vsx-81txv? i hear the sound is cleaner.
Thanks guys.

Challenging Room.

You might consider some big bean bags or other method to sit in the middle of the room to get the surround effect when watching movies. Based on your description, it would be tough to do 7.1 unless you are using in-ceiling speakers.
