Hi
I have to agree with the previous posts. The Klipsch THX Ultra II speakers are awesome for movie sound tracks, and are the finest THX speakers I have installed to date. The Klipsch THX Ultra II will provide you with seamless transitions, huge dynamic capabilities, high spl and efficiency. For music these speakers are a little on the dry side but If your listening habits trend more toward movie sound tracks and multi-channel they are magnificent.
The THX Ultra II system can be configured in many different ways to accommodate your room and you don’t need to stick with the standard install profile to get a great sounding system. An example of this would be KL-650-THX LCR and surrounds or KL-650 LCR and KL-525 surrounds or you can do the standard using KL-650 LCR or KL-525 LCR and KS-525 Di-pole in the null of the listening position.
Klipsch will has plans to ship THX in-walls 1st quarter next year
These are the speakers I would use for the EX channels if you have a back wall. This configuration is better than using the KL-525 mounted on the back wall because it is aesthetically correct. The KL-525 are a little big and bulky
For EX speaker use and we have been advising client to use the smaller speakers from the Reference line until the THX In-wall ships
Hope this helps
