I can't speak for the Paradigm, but I have heard the Synergy center, and IMO it is crap (well crap for the price)
When I heard it, it seemed like there was a hole in the FR in the upper FR.
As well, I normally like horn tweeters, but the pitch was to bright (granted 'bright' is a subjective term)
(I have horn set in all 7 of my speakers)
I would be willing to bet the Paradigm, would give a much better flat FR.
Personally, I think it would be easier to integrate into other speakers (front mains), would probably be a much better timber match (that is unless you have Klipsch to begin with).
If you already have the Synergy fronts, then by all means stick with the 'proper' timber match, by getting the center for the set.
If you are using it with any other setup, then I would say spend the money on the Paradigm Cinema 330.
Peace out,...... word.
