Klipsch RF-15's for 5.1 Surround?

Hi,

So I'm picking up some Klipsch RF-3ii's for the front and an RC-3 center today. Running them with an Onkyo HT-R557.

The wife and I spoke about the rears and both agree that we'd like to use floor standing (after I save up a little more $$). We're thinking the RF-15's should fit the bill nicely and finishing up the 5.1 with a Klipsch RSW-12 sub. The SAF is 100% as long as everything visually matches. It would be 110% if they were the dark cherry though LOL...

Does this sound right? I would think the 15's would be plenty for the rear and all being reference (even though there are variences in the model lines) would have a decent quality of sound?

Or am I way off base?

Thanks!

Ed

The 15s will be fine for the surrounds, but I would definitely look elsewhere for the sub! How much are you willing to spend on the sub?

I'm thinking around $500 or so? Possibly gently used if need be?

I have the RF-15 in the rear and RF-82 in front they should sound great and be more than sufficient for the rears.
