You may find them bright especially with a Yamaha receiver. That combination seems to exaserbate their "shining personlaty. I have similar speakers to the Klipsch. I noticed a toning down when I got a diff receiver.

went from a yamaha HTR-5990 to a Denon 3808ci and i most definetly could tell the difference in the brightness of the rf-7's i have. me personally, i like the brights so when i went to the denon, i was kinda disappointed. but have tuned my hearing to the denon.

You tuned your hearing eh? I have a tuning adjustment too, but mine is a Robertson head, so I never have to worry about it stripping.
