Klipsch old vs. new: opinion

Now that the RF-7 (reference series tower) is replaced by the RF-83, there are a few good deals around on the old 7's. So how much difference is there in this product "upgrade". Is it significant? Enough to justify $750 or $800 more per pair for the RF-83?
I like Klipsch and currently run the RF-5 with a Yammi rx-v2600 with fine results, but being tempted by this opportunity to snag a deal.

Opinions? Thanks for comments in advance.

Haven't hear the newest models in person but have heard both the RF5 and RF7's. I like the 5's.....the 7's blow them away (if you've got the space to really open them up). JMO

I'm in the other boat. I have not listened to the RF5/7 speakers, but just bought the RF83s and I love them! As can be seen below, I runs these off of a Denon 3806. Both movies and music (2-channel and multichannel) sound fantastic with these speakers.

I like your set-up...
I would love to buy a pair of the 83s.....but I'm still "developing" my HT set up.
I have RF-5s in front and my old Def-tech BP6 for surrounds....not wanting to part with hugh wads of cash, I'm upgrading a piece at a time.
Ironically, if I buy the RF-7s with a nod to the 83's (just to save a few $$), my RF-5's then become surround speakers....go figure....I hate selling stuff but maybe I should. BTW...I probably use the system more for music..esp concert DVDs and DTS/DD music discs than movie watching....so I'm very particular about reproduction capabilites.
Anyway, just looking for some comparisons of the two main tower speakers in case anyone has heard them both.
Thanks already for the replys..I esp like the comparison of the RF7 with regard to the RF5....anyone else with experience with these products?
