Kenwood Amp problems

I'm by far the worst at audio and audio equipment. Atleast with all the technical stuff. I don't know if this is where I should be but you guys seem to know your audio - but I've got a Pioneer P6400 radio in my car, and a Kenwood PS520 amplifier powering a 12" Solobaric. But.. the bass keeps cutting out, and the indicator light blinks blue, then powers back on after 5 seconds, only to do the same thing. I read the manual and it says "When the center unit/B.M.S. switch controls the B.M.S" I just want a nice clean bass sound to go with my music. Is there anyone who can suggest some settings?

Sounds like you have too much sub for the amp and it is shutting off. Try turning the amp's level down.
