kef v/s energy micro

hello to all.this is my first post.i am planning to upgrade my hometheatre.amp which i have fixed is onkyo txnr609.i have shortlisted two speakers namely energy micro5.1 and kef kht3005.my room is less than 200 sq.ft.please give me some suggestions

Micro systems are not much good, basically a waste of time. However if you must have one, the KEF is one of the better ones. The Energy is a waste of time.

Speaker choice is difficult.

I would suggest you move up to decent bookshelf speakers.

If you must use a micro system, then the B & W Mini theater is the one to have.

An Ascend Acoustics CBM-170/CBM-170C/HTM-200 combo and an Epik Legend would put those system to shame!

kef kht3005 is at least twice as expensive as the Micro's hardly seems a fair comparison you could always look at the Energy RC-Mini series they're slightly larger and available on ebay.
