A couple years back, I bought Santana Abraxas LP in supposedly VG+. It has no marks and must have been well taken care of but I was never seriously happy with how it sounded. I figured it was played excessively. I hadn't played it yet in the almost one year that I have owned my KEF's until this week and I had to take it off the platter! I could replace it with a newly mastered one, but I generally shy away from digital on vinyl. May as well buy the CD. But I didn't do that. I found a VG+ Japanese original pressing and ordered that.
