I have moved on to a different type of speaker, and so it is time to sell these wonderful KEF IQ7’s. From the renowned British speaker maker, they feature the legendary coincidental tweeter & cone driver assembly. From the KEF website:

The spec of the iQ7 says it all: a new generation Uni-Q point source array with our latest aluminium dome tweeter at the centre of the matching titanium coated 160mm (6 1/2") cone, partnered by a dedicated long-throw bass driver of the same size. Response is accurate and distortion-free at all volumes, with fluidly articulate midrange, generous bass extension and faultless 3-D imagining. The tonal match is perfect with the rest of the range, and the shrouded terminals are designed for bi-wiring or bi-amplification. Spine-tingling home theatre has never been more affordable.

You can look here to find out all the advantages of the Uni-Q design:

Here’s a snippet from a review:
“You don't have to be a country music fan to enjoy the likes of Bonnie Raitt. I very much enjoy a number of tracks on her new Souls Alike CD. On track 8, "I don't Want Anything to Change", her voice is both smoky and sweet. The iQ7s exude the richness of her voice and the mystical images from the instruments in her band.
Yo Yo Ma's CD Vivaldi's Cello is also a favorite for me, especially when evaluating the potential for deep bass from full-range speakers like the iQ7s. Track 4, from "The Four Seasons", Largo from "Winter", is a short violin duet with the cello. I was taken aback by the depth of the cello and wished the track was much longer than the mere 2 minutes of this recording. “

The speakers have been babied, like all my equipment. They have always been fed quality amplification, and never driven too hard. I would rate the cabinets/drivers a solid 8/10. The grills are perfect, and I also have the carpet spikes. I do have the original boxes, but I’m going to try really hard to sell them locally before I consider shipping.

The speakers retailed new for $1,000. I got them for $600 from an authorized dealer. They also sell “Open box” models for $500. I am asking $450 for the pair, but will consider reasonable offers. Scammers need not respond, as you will be ignored. Cash sale. I also have a pair of IQ8DS in dark apple in another ad. Since they are lighter, I will consider shipping, to be paid for by the buyer. Pay Pal for payment, with an extra 2% to cover their fees.

My user name on Ebay is cravnsn – I invite you to check out my solid feedback rating there, as both a buyer & seller. Thanks for looking.

 Where' my money when I need it. If it sticks around too long you may have yourself a deal.
I thought you liked the 5's better. This is a hell of a deal though.

What are you replacing them with Craig?
