KEF floor speakers wanted

I have a Kef three-way center and surround rears, all in dark apple finish. I am looking for front floor speakers, dark apple or black...Q7's, Q9's...? I do not wish to spend a HUGE sum-I can not afford such but believe I can get great! speakers, used or demo, for under $1000.00, pair. If anyone has suggestions or items to sell, let me know. I live in Minnesota. thanks!

If you don't have a iQ6 I think the upgrade is well worth the money.

In my opinion (fwiw) the added driver in the IQ9 doesn’t justify the added cost nor benefits the sound that much. As I stated, the IQ7 can be had at onecall.com for under $600 with free shipping.

There is not a big difference in price between the iQ7 and iQ9, and the 9's do have a slightly lower bass extension. But if you are using a sub, it probably won't make that much of a difference. As was stated, onecall has them at a good price, as does buy dot com and another good mail order company hideflifestyle with whom I have done business and am very satisfied.

Most places should be discounting them a good bit since they have been updated and renamed. The iQ7 has been replaced by the iQ70 and iQ9 has been replaced by the iQ90. The differences include revised crossover profiles and a new "tangerine" waveguide on the tweeter which, according to KEF, "delivers a smoother, clearer high frequency response with an even wider dispersion as well as providing an excellent protection from straying fingers (and paws)".
