The next thing you know, there it'll be a full-fledged campaign. Perhaps I'm overreacting, but I'll be glad to be proven wrong.
As for our military, defence spending dropped to 1% of GDP under Conservative PM Harper. Over the last few years under Trudeau, it has been steadily increasing. Too slowly, in my opinion, but certainly not going down. He pledged to eventually meet the agreed NATO minimum of 2% - again, too slowly - but Poilievre hasn't even pledged that much.
