Just switched to floorstanders! Opinions?

Was using the Mirage UNItheater T1 and Inifinity PS12 for space reasons.

Just picked up a pair of Boston Acoustics VR960's for front mains, VR940's for surrounds. paid $400 total for all 4. Still desperately searching for a VR920, but they seem impossible to find. Running them with a Pioneer Elite VSX92txh.
I personally am very much enjoying the sound.

How have you guys felt about the Lynnfield line?

I ran VR950s with a VR910 for a couple of years. My only complaint was the complete lack of bass extension. The three-way VR960s should have a lot better low end. It was the act of auditioning a pair of 970s that got me into BA speakers to begin with. Unfortunately they were discontinued before I finished saving for them.

I sold them off to a local Boston Acoustics fanatic and replaced them with a pair of VR3s and a VRC center. Once he came back and bought my old Velodyne sub to fill in the bass he became a very happy camper.

Boston makes good speakers and I think you'll like them. I've really enjoyed mine but I'm getting a bad case of upgradeitis.
