BTW i just purchased a set of JBL venues. I can't wait for them to arrive so i can test them out.

One question though for cable i am planning on getting some 12 guage cable and gold plated banna plugs. Any recommendations on brand (please don't say moster cable i find it's overpriced for the quality)

Monoprice and bluejeans cable are two good place to check (both online). I myself use bluejeans and radio shack plugs.

Ok one question though i live in the Great White North (aka Canada) and i have checked out monoprice. Their prices for cable are especially good. But my question is how much duty am i going to pay since if it's the same as going to radio shack or active compnents why would i bother with the hassle ? But if it turns out to be cheaper then i would defintely get them from there since they sell 100" spools of 12 guage wire for only 27 bucks

I've ordered from Monoprice. After exchange, duty and shipping, I still got a killer deal for what I ordered. Just be sure to order as much or more as you think you will possibly need. For the price, it's better to order too much than have to go down to The Source just once for a cable.

well i dont think i will have to order more than enough bannasa since i am hooking up 5 speakers so i think 10 pairs should do the trick. but do you think 100 feet will be enough for a room thats around 8 feet my ten feet approx.

Should be plenty, but if you think you might need RCA, HDMI or anything else in the near future, get it now. It's a steal.

well considering i user a projector and i don't plan on replacing mine anytime soon. i don't think i would need hdmi stuff. But i will probably be getting the cable stuff from monoprice since my JBL's arrived in ottawa today
