I'm mostly a lurker on here but had to chime in on these. Went to my local dealer last weekend to see if he had them in stock. Had one pair that were loaners from the Paradigm rep. So we fired em up and thirty minutes later I was out the door with probably the first set in Georgia at a small discount (no boxes or manuals). I bought these to replace my studio 40's and mini monitors (all for sale BTW) before that. Denon 3805, Studio CC, and ADP 380's in the rear, PDR-8 below.

First of all, I've gotta admit. I was a sucker for the look of these speakers. They look sooo much better than those big ugly boxes of Studio 40. But the great thing is they also sound better-- even before setting levels with my 3805. The soundstage is seems much more natural as well. I guess more drivers helps? Not alot of bass obviously, but still sounds great with my measly PDR-8. I guess that's next to go... Really heavy solid construction too, unlike the Deftec's which I was tempted by. Another hit for Paradigm!
