Thanks guys you have given me a lot to think about. After careful consideration I have decided to cancel my order for the Marantz AV separate for now and get my room finished (hoping before the new year) I will then install my current system and see what I am missing after tuning to room. After seeing my room size and how close the surrounds will be to the back speakers Iam not sure that I will even need 7.1 set up or like it.
So for now I have ordered the Emotiva xpa5 I will run it with the pre outs off my current Marantz SR 5004. I got to hear an emotiva amp in person and it sounded great for movies and the price was right. Time will tell if I made a mistake. I am going to properly install the ADP-390 as surrounds (currently in the rear due to the room there in) and decided if I want to go 7.1. If so I will order an Emotiva xpa2 for the towers. My buddy agrees that the HSU would be a huge upgrade aswell so That will be next on the upgrade list. Then I will spend some time enjoying movies and decide what upgrades I need if any.
