Just Like Something Monster Would Do

I am not surprised at the deception that Monster has pulled off at CES this year. They've deceived me in years of the past. I used to think all of their cables were high quality. I recently unscrewed an RCA connector from an old auto interconnect cable I've had that looked like high quality. What I found was a short from poor workmanship and wire that didn't look greater than 26 AWG barely soldered. Beware of their products, don't except their marketing deceptions.

There's a few bad apples in every batch.

You said it yourself, it's old cable. :)

That is not an excuse!

Given the ammount of money Monster charges for their over-hyped snake oil cables you would think they would at least TEST them before they packaged & shiped them out.

Now take a company like BlueJeans Cables who charges a fraction of the price as Monster; their workmanship is second to none and EVERY cable is sweep tested to 5 Ghz, way above what 1080P uses. You would NEVER get a "bad batch" from a company that cares about selling a quality product, not a bunch of hype wrapped in TechFlex.

I am so sick of Monster and their high-pressure sales tatics they teach employees at Best Buy and Circut City to use telling customers that they MUST use Monster Cable for their new $$$ purchase or it will look like crap. Noel Lee is going to smoke a turd in hell for screwing over so many people in is life.

I guess every industry needs a company to hate on. :)

You would NEVER get a "bad batch" from a company that cares about selling a quality product...
I would love to see any proof that manufacturing errors at BlueJean (or any other company for that matter) is even CLOSE to 0%.

Even Audioholics reviewed Monsters speaker cable in their Face Off back in '03, and believe it or not that a Monster brand cable was in their top 3 picks.

I don't know, I think their products are OVER RATED and they seem to be the default speaker and interconnect cable of choice for major retail outlet sales clerks, but what can you do?

I'm sure there are more productive threads on this debate somewhere on the forums. My response was just tongue and cheek to someone who thought posting a "RABBLE RABBLE DOWN WITH MONSTER RABBLE RABBLE" was productive conversation :p
