JBL Venue Series Sub12 Amp fried!

My JBL Venue Series Sub 12 has fried a fried circuit board. Repair man says it will cost $150.00 to fix. Speaker and cabinet are in good condition. What options do I have with this sub in the condition it it in? Should I fix it? Keep it for the speaker, or just throw it away?

Throw it away. Take the Velodyne sub you've been torturing with your bass and put it in your sound system. Get an Acoustic Image amp to replace the Velodyne.
