Cerwin vega or JBL

I am the proud owner of Cerwin Vega AT 15's and strongly recommend them! As far as your bass goes depends on your preferance in tunes. Most rock and roll lends itself nicely to the range dynamics possible with cerwin vegas on their own. They actually work as studio loud speakers & entry level industrial power speakers! Dont be fooled these speakers are the real deal. They are well made are fused with a replaceable slow blow system and rarely cut out unless the user weakens them with an amp with not enough head room. So dont cheap out on your amp ( the heart of any system). I went out and got a self powered 15'' 200 watt sub because I could afford it and thought what the hell. I found I really only appreciated the differance added with the sub with Rap music and some soundtrack home theater action movie, Top Gun comes to mind. My neighbours certainly know I have a kick *** System! Wish I could tell you about jbl's I know a band that swears by them! I dont think you will get hurt either way. Likely you will be the new top dog rockin the block! Good luck and turn it up with authority.
