JBL HDI-3800 Floor Standing Speaker

I don't know if anyone noticed, you can get a $5,000.00 set of JBL HDI-3800 floor standing speakers for 2,299/pair. This set of speakers was originally $5,000/pair. This is a fantastic price for these speakers. I saw them at Crutchfields. I own a set of these speakers myself which I unfortunately paid full price for a few years back. Audioholics rates these speakers 5 stars.

Just looked, shows 1413.55 each....still not a bad price at all.

Yeah, I’m seeing about the same pricing when I check too. Even at around $1,400 each it’s still a pretty big drop from the original price for the JBL HDI-3800 Floorstanding Speaker. Looks like a clearance or end-of-line type situation rather than a temporary sale. Crutchfield sometimes does that when inventory starts getting low. Either way, interesting to see a model that reviewed well on Audioholics show up with that kind of discount.

I wish I could get the smaller version but I don’t have enough money right now.
