When I saw the news feed on my wall about less than a hour ago, my jaw dropped to the floor. Stunned and I just don't believe it. I have enjoyed as much millions more listening to James Horner, scores over the some +30 years that he has left for us to all still enjoy and admire the man that inspires others to become musicians. From STAR TREK II and III to ALIENS, Cocoon to Willow to APOLLO 13, Braveheart to his Oscar winning TITANIC to Avatar and many more. Watching APOLLO 13 on THX laserdisc dts launch scene over and over. The score was intensfing with coolness of sound effects/sound on that film.
