It's a good week at Mickey Dees.

I'm a happy camper.

It's two Filet-o-Fish sandwiches for $4 at Mickey Dees. And, it's two Sausage Egg McMuffins for $3 as well. Those are the only two things on their menu I like.

Yes, it's a good week.

[edit] Oops... that's $4 for two fish sandwiches.

I've never actually had the filet-o-fish, but perhaps I'll give em a shot. Never cared for breakfast sausage but I do like a plain egg or bacon egg mcmuffin :D

Fillet is the only thing I like too really. I prefer the Sausage biscuit at breakfast, but I really only eat at McD's on very rare occasions these days.

I have a mcdonalds very convenient on my way to work and home. A few times a week I will stop in and get a coffee or something hot for breakfast. At this particular location they are always quick, always get my order right and I have stopped in to get coffee before to hand them my card only to hear "coffee is free today!" like the last time we had a good snow storm.

I am not a huge fast food person and i nearly never stop in for anything other than breakfast but I will say that at this location they definitely got their stuff together!

I remember a Mens Health article pointing out that the Egg Mcmuffin is just about the only freshly made not too horrible for you item on the entire menu , so I too stop for one or two once in a while, it is a hot breakfast on the go and some what tasty.

I make my own 'egg mcmuffin'. It is sort of like the Mcdonald's version except it has texture and flavor. I toast those Thomas English Muffins, and make an egg over hard. I also cook one of the Morning Star veggie sausage patties- now I know what you are saying, but honestly I prefer these over regular sausage, as they are not greasy. They aren't as flavorful as regular sausage patties, but they don't weigh you down with a ton of grease and they still taste fine. I place the egg and sausage in the english muffin and layer some sliced cheddar between them. I have the process optimized down where I can put one together in 5 min. Blows the McDs version away.
