This debate between an American analyst and a former IDF (Israeli soldier) shows just how fukked the Israeli POV is. Israrl seriously wants the US to sacrifice the US soldiers lives to defeat the Iranians. This IDF guy is so out of touch with reality and it clearly shows how fascist Israel has become.

The word "Zionism" was originally defined as belief in a Jewish homeland. That's it, that's all. But now, it has become the new "woke" - a word rendered meaningless, a Rorshach test. It has been shackled with various definitions, all depending on the political and/or religious persuasions of those uttering the term.

The suggestion that Jews lived peacefully throughout the Middle East and North Africa prior to the founding of modern Israel has a solid foundation. However, there have been intermittent pogroms and expulsions of Jews in the region for centuries prior to 1948. As dhimmis, living as second-class citizens, they would never be completely safe in these societies.

While even some Jews don't believe that Israel should have been re-established, the vast majority support it. Looking at the precarious existence they have endured down through the centuries, nobody should be surprised that they would want their old homeland back. That said, some of the policies and actions of the Israeli government over the past few decades are unacceptable.
Could a lot of this have been prevented if the PLO and other later Palestinian leadership had accepted the land and terms offered to them? They have said "NO" to every offer since 1968, right?

I watched that one. Johnathan did a Freudian slip with the casualties assessment made the US hesitant towards sending ground troops.

Please explain
John said he wants US ground troops, but he also literally said, the casualties assessment made the US hesitant to send in ground troops. He's contradicting himself.

I caught that but I dont see the contradiction. Sometimes I have problems with context

He wants US troops but acknowledges the US doesn't want troops on the ground because deaths could be high.

I think its Colonel McGregor or Larry Johnson believe that pro Israeli lobby is responsible for JFK's assassination because JFK did not want Israel to have nuclear weapons.

That has to be a conspiracy.

Maybe but it really fits into Israel's profile....

Israel is estimated to have carried out more than 2,700 targeted assassination operations since the state's founding in 1948, according to Rise and Kill First, a comprehensive history of the operations by Israeli investigative journalist Ronen Bergman. This figure—which includes both successful and attempted operations—makes Israel responsible for more state-sponsored assassinations than any other Western country since World War II. [1, 2, 3]
While Israel historically maintains a policy of deliberate ambiguity and rarely confirms or denies individual covert actions, the frequency of targeted strikes has escalated drastically. [1, 2]

I did an AI search on the plausability of the JKF assassination by the Israeli lobbyists and it returned that this was not plausable so I must have misunderstood McGregor and or Johnson.

AI Overview

Israel exerts significant and multifaceted influence on American politics through organized lobbying, strategic alignment, and public diplomacy. [1, 2, 3]

Lobbying and Political Action
    • Campaign Spending: Groups like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) actively fund and support political candidates who back unconditional U.S. aid and alignment with Israel. [1, 2]
    • Congressional Access: Pro-Israel organizations maintain deep networks of key contacts and donor backing that give them substantial access to members of both major U.S. political parties. [1, 2]
    • Public Diplomacy: The Israeli government and affiliated groups invest heavily in U.S.-based public relations, digital messaging, and foreign agent registrations to shape policy debates and public opinion. [1, 2]

Strategic and Domestic Factors
    • Shared Interests: Proponents argue that the strong U.S.-Israel relationship is built on mutual security, intelligence sharing, and democratic values in the Middle East. [1, 2, 3]
    • Voter Alignments: Substantial domestic voting blocs—particularly evangelical Christians and segments of the Jewish-American community—strongly support Israel for religious or cultural reasons. [1, 2]
    • Shifting Public Opinion: Recent polling indicates growing public and partisan divides, with younger Americans and Democrats increasingly questioning current U.S. policy and the influence of pro-Israel lobby groups. [1, 2]

Let's see what else Israel has effected the US:
1) CIA has determined recently that Israel is of the highest risk against US security as its spy network is deeply embedded in Trump's cabinet.
2) Jonathan Pollard sold military secrets to Israel who in turn sold it to the Russians.
3) Bill 224 that marries US intelligence with Israeli intelligence is going forward despite the Pollard BS . How f'in stupid is the American administration?????!!!!!!!!

The late Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, consistently maintained that the development, stockpiling, and use of nuclear weapons were religious crimes under Islamic law. He famously issued a religious decree (fatwa) declaring such weapons strictly haram (forbidden), asserting that Iran’s nuclear program was purely for peaceful, civilian energy purposes. [1, 2, 3]
Key Details of His Stance:
  • The Fatwa: Originating in the mid-1990s, this declaration was formally announced to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in 2005. It stated that weapons of mass destruction have no place in Iran's military or defense doctrine. [1, 2]
  • Deterrence vs. Destruction: While Khamenei viewed nuclear technology and research as a national asset, he explicitly claimed that possessing nuclear warheads fundamentally contradicted Islamic principles. [1, 2]
  • International Perspectives: While Iranian officials repeatedly used this stance as a diplomatic shield to deny pursuing nuclear arms, international analysts and foreign policy experts frequently debated whether the fatwa was a binding religious injunction or a political tool

The Origin of the Phrase "to cut off the head of the snake"
The expression entered public global diplomacy after the 2010 WikiLeaks release of classified U.S. diplomatic cables. The leaks revealed that the late King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia had repeatedly exhorted the United States to launch military strikes against Iran to destroy its nuclear program. According to the 2008 cables, Saudi officials explicitly told U.S. commanders that the King wanted them to "cut off the head of the snake" before it was too late.

Yet in the mid 1990s, there were no nuclear weapons of mass destruction based on Islamic law. Go figure!!
Why would you trust Iran?

Why would anyone trust Israel or the current US administration?
Throughout out the course of this war, Iran targeted until last week, only military targets. They followed the US lead tit for tat. I can’t say the same for Israel in Gaza, Westbank, and now Lebanon.
