Is Yamaha RXV657 a good buy

I am a new member soliciting advice.
I am the owner of a Sony STR-DE845 that went dead due to defective soldering. As a consequence I am now shopping around for a replacement & I am contemplating purchasing a Yamaha RXV657. However, based on my experience with the Sony I am using this medium to solicit comments as to whether the Yamaha is a reliable product & would the Yamaha RXV657 be a good buy.
All comments/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
PS. I don’t intend to spend more than $350.00-$400.00

The yamaha is a good buy...

The yamaha's are built very well and gererally sound very good for the money, the diff between the Sony and the Yammi will be night and day in the sound quality department.. peace!

That Yamaha is very much worth it. If it has all the features & connections you need, go for it.
