Is this a good combo?

Yamaha Rx-v663 and SVS Scs-01 5.1 system? Also need a good sub for as little cash as possible but one that will still compliment the system.

That's a fine combination. Just be sure to ask SVS for sub recommendations based on your room size while you are on the phone with them ordering the SCS-01. You can't go wrong with an SVS sub and you will probably get a package deal ordering everything together.

I prefer combo #2 (2 soft shelled tacos, dr. pepper and fries supreme).

SVS prodcts are highly respected on this forum. Seems like a nice setup.

I agree, you cannot go wrong with the SVS sub. Good pick, imo.
