no. 5 Audioholic Field Marshall Mar 3, 2007 #3 I just looked up the new Denon players; the DVD-1930CI and the 2930CI only have HDMI 1.1, I could not find what version is used in Yamaha's DVD-S2700 and DVD-S1700, or in any of Onkyo's players.

Sony, Panasonic, and Tobisha.... Click to expand... Is the issue just for hdmi? I have the 1930 and it works great, but I'm connected with component video.

But it only does 2ch SACD unless you have a HDMI 1.3 receiver also and no DVD-A obviously. Sony will be releasing the BD-SP300 that will do everything except, and the winner is...DVD-A. If I am not mistaken, the Oppo 981 will do everything, but it only has HDMI 1.1
