Either move the box closer to the sub, or further away, as you prefer.

Kidding aside, I’m fairly certain few reading the post will have a clue what it means.

Didn't see it when I posted, but what box now ? Can it not be moved if the worry is that the sub is too near this "box"? Why is it a problem for it to be near the sub?

I'd love to post a pic but every picture is Too Large to post.

I have a Kenwood Subwoofer that I trying to mount onto my car audio Sub Box. There is a 1 inch gap between the Sub and box. I'm unable to push it further in due to the slim design off the box...Is there Andy loss is sound of I don't fill the gap or should I fill it?

As to the size thing....if you use a pc right click on the pic file and select edit, and use Paint to resize the photo---try 30%.

Seriously, I have no life.
That sub will not works at all like that. In addition it will ruin the driver as the cone will be uncontrolled.

You need to enlarge the hole, so the driver can seat properly. You have no other options.

It's a subwoofer once the driver is properly fit/mounted in the box (just a driver up until then)....you need to work on the box part :)

To my eye it looks like the wrong diameter too.
