Is the Onkyo TX-RZ70 the Best AVR under $3000?

Cirrus Logic CS49844A-CQZ. There may be others, as there are other ICs on the board including those beneath heatsinks, but that DSP is clearly visible.

Thanks, search and found that it might be an old one, no datasheet available but seems not very powerful vs ADSP 21593 D+Ms are currently using.

If I were looking to get an Onkyo AVR, would be this one. It definitely checks a lot of boxes.

Interesting, that is a Quad core dsp - and is marked on the Cirrus website as "discontinued" - but there is no direct replacement for it on their website!

I believe the same DSP is used across the onkyo range from NR7100 through RZ30, RZ50 and RZ70.... (which means variations in functionality are really marketing driven, and not capabilities based!)
