Is it possible to connect a 5 ohm sub to a 6 ohm AV Receiver.

Hi,
I am planning on adding a Sub to my HT which has Yamaha HTR 2067 as the AV receiver.
This one requires the speakers to be minimum of 6 ohms.
I was looking at the Yamaha NS-SW 100 Sub which is rated at 5 ohms.

Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Arshad,
The Yamaha NS-SW100 is a powered subwoofer so the 5 ohm to 6 ohm thing is irrelevant.
- You can only connect the NS-SW100 to your HTR 2067 using the subwoofer preamp output (an RCA connector).

Like Eagledriver says, and even for your other speakers 6 ohms is a guideline....

First let me apologize for the late response. I got the Sub yesterday, set it up and it is just wonderful. Now I guess I have to play with the settings on the AV Receiver to finish the setup (Any suggestions here are welcome). Thank you again, appreciate your time and advice.
