My onkyo 605 just got here, everything works good and sounds good except one thing.

Im currently using just one surround back instead of two(left back surr). As i try to calibrate each speaker individually, i found out there are no calibrating options for my back surround, it just work the same as the left channel but behind me.
It doesnt sound like a problem but if you dont have much room like me with the couch against the wall and the surround back speaker would be a little too close.

So my question is, is there any way i can calibrate the back surround individually with onkyo?

While I'm not familiar with the Onkyo set-up, it sounds as if you haven't gone into the manual set-up to tell the receiver that you have a surround back speaker. Most receivers will default to 5.1 until you set it to SB 1X or 2X. In your case set it to 1X, as you only have the one speaker.
Also check the manual to be sure the correct connection is the SB left, not SB right when running 6.1.

Bi-amping?

Your assessment of the manual is incorrect. You are not bi-amping. Turn this feature off and try running the auto set-up again.
