It picks up right where the first left off and though it is slower, it still has solid action. The wire work is obvious though well done, and the story remains solid as well. Though a bit predictable story wise (since it is based on a true story that has more or less been rehashed endlessly), it was well acted and well done. The audio was excellent as well; even the English dub was pretty good though I watched the majority in the original Cantonese with subtitles. Those who have seen the first likely won't be disappointed with this one either.

I don't know if this movie qualifies quite to level of "beating just about anything else I have seen recently", but it's wasn't bad. Basically I agree with j_garcia
