Dude I love your passion for this I still remember when I first fell in love with this hobby jamming a shelf system from some brick amd mortar store to my deff leppard iron maiden megadeth scorpions the list goes on and on.

Be patient with us and yourself I had so much to learn so do you but you'll get there and we will help.

But your enthusiasm brings back awesome memories scoring garage sales and craiglists and cobbling together whatever system I could come up with Lol

For wall mounting bookshelves try small tv mounts made to handle there weight they are flexible and usually can give you better angles then traditional speaker mounts. The catch is you gotta Be Okay with screwing into the speaker itself to hold them and make sure you don't go through the wood ! Lol

Something like this stuff

Just find the right size the right type to hit the angle you need you can find good mounts for as cheap as 20 to 30 bucks that can hold up to 30 pounds easy

Cheaper mounts if your speakers aren't that heavy

Is it worth the effort for pro logic 1? And my rear don’t seem to look mountable.
Maybe on a shelf .
Excellent sound quality gotta spend $350+ for a stereo receiver like this today , v groove extra decibel bass boost .
You’re a bit lacking a dobro logic doesn’t have full stereo for the rears sad face

This center will not hit 75 decibels it’s too power hungry this amplifier cannot power it . Sadly

I turned the center to the highest setting +6
Highest center hits is 60-65 decibels.

Well I hope it’s a little better for you though. Here is why that shelf system is made for its 6ohm Sony speaker

Being that your new center is 8ohms and your shelf is 40 watts @ 6ohm your center channel is cut down even less.

Are the klipsch 6 ohm? Why does it power the fronts I may go back to the Sony it came with . Probably voice matched to center

If you’re not using the 818, why not try that?

I use it for movies and it’s way to big to fit downstairs considering floorstanders .
The klipsch are too bright to use with the sony amplifier .
